5.1. Methodological overview
The learning methodology of this subject is as follows:
The subject will be developed through combined practical and theoretical classes held in the school. The practical classes will be connected to real market situations. The classes of the subject will require an important participation of the students.
There will be exercises that the students distributed in groups or individually will have to solve-discuss in the school. These exercises will require the use of the computer.
Other exercises and theoretical papers will have to be discussed at home in groups or individually by the students as a part of their learning process.
Other learning activities, such as seminars presented by guest speakers in the school, will be part of the learning methodology of this subject.
5.2. Learning tasks
(1) Lectures, in order to present the main strategies in financial markets.
(2) Presentation and discussion of real situations.
(3) The use of the computer in practical exercises.
(4) Comprehensive reading of cases of study.

5.4. Course planning and calendar
There will be 60 hours which will be held in class, mostly in the computer’s room due to the practical focus of this subject.

Under budget restrictions, a guest speaker will present a seminar related to any topic included in the program of the subject.
